Questions to ask any outdoor venue

Outdoor venues photograph well and vary enormously in how they actually run a day. These are the questions worth asking anywhere, including here.
Is anyone else on the grounds that day?
The single biggest difference between one venue and another. Two events running side by side changes the sound, the parking and the privacy. Ask directly, and ask what happens if the other event overruns.
Here, one lawn is let per date, so the answer is no.
What happens if it rains?
Every outdoor venue has an answer. Some of them are good.
Bulbul Event Spaces does not provide a marquee or weather cover.
Where does the power come from?
Ask about the generator, not just whether one exists — capacity, whether it carries sound and lighting together, and how quickly it picks up.
Generator power is not provided by the venue.
Can we bring our own caterer?
This decides more of your budget than the venue fee does.
Outside caterers are welcome.
What time do we get in, and what time do we have to be out?
Setup usually takes longer than families expect, particularly when a stage is involved. Ask when access starts, not when the event starts.
What is the advance, and what happens if we cancel?
Get this in writing before anything is transferred.
Contact the venue team to discuss availability and the details of your event.
